Can anyone please suggest other books, by other authors, like High Road to China? I've read Far Away Drums, and The Golden Saber by Jon Cleary, and I love them. What other similar adventure novels have been written? ( Many of Cleary's others books are about World War II, but just don't appeal to me) Thank you for your suggestions.

First heard of the novel seven years ago (it was written in the 1970s), and since then it's come back into print. Highly recommended. It's one of the best adventure stories I've ever read.(less)
