Virginia I think there are a lot of mothers out there like this one - mothers who had a vision of their future which turned out differently than they expected.…moreI think there are a lot of mothers out there like this one - mothers who had a vision of their future which turned out differently than they expected. It did not help that the father was the complete opposite - so invested in his children that he neglected his wife. I find it hard to blame the mom solely for the outcome as her husband was really just as guilty.(less)

Jan I felt his placement in the family, always felt unwanted and with that one questions about the Barn and his true family, caused him to really grow up …moreI felt his placement in the family, always felt unwanted and with that one questions about the Barn and his true family, caused him to really grow up was very likely. I didn't take it as a cop out, but the most hopefully change of behavior in the whole family
