I have loved all the books I have read of Sharyn McCrumb thus far......The Ballad of Frankie Silver was difficult to get through. It does not flow well and jumps from one story to the next. I had a hard time focusing on the switching.........I would not recommend this book. I have been reading the books in order and this one went off the chart. Would you recommend this book???

Having said that, I am glad I finished as the story of Frankie captivated me. I didn't think there was a correlation between her story and the Harkryder case but at the very end, it all came together.(less)
