If you had to give this book a rating based on grossness (G, PG, PG-13 R) and descriptions of gore, what would you give it? I'm interested in reading it but Bird Box is about as gross as I want to go.

There are some gruesome parts, but much of the gore is described by police detectives at a scene rather than details of action as it occurs. Also, there is much normal story between parts describing gore.

I'd say this is a pretty good novella that is readable at a fast pace, so not much time is invested if you end up not liking it or need back out.(less)
