I've read the reviews of the English version saying that the swearword Lotta uses is damn. In Polish it isn't a swearword at all, she just says "yuck, pharoah". I wondered what the original Swedish was. Anyone knows?

It isn't a swearword in Swedish either, but in the book they make a point of it being ALMOST a swearword, which they consider too inappropriate for Lotta to use. I guess there wasn't a good enough equivalent in the English language, so they just went with "damn" instead.(less)
