I highly recommend this book. But it is an extremely hard read. I do not recall a ton of bad language. The book is discriptive without being to descriptive. I think it felt more descriptive to me because it deals with children. The book centers around sex, child abuse and violence. This is definitely a book I would not recommend for anyone under 18.
