So, Quincy and some investigators try to track down who/what is responsible for these incidents. Meanwhile, the perspectives in the stories switch to a child who has been kidnapped. And again to another perspective of a child who was found on the doorsteps of a woman. This all actually ties in together and you will figure out what's been happening and who did it later in the book.
It's actually one of my favourites just because the perspectives keep changing that it throws you off guard at the end.(less)

When Aaron/Ginny had to give Dinchara the name of someone they loved Ginny hoped that the mention of Kimberly would interest Dinchara. Distracting him from the name of someone she truly loved. Ginny and Aaron were also hopeful that it would bring more attention to what was going on. It was a distraction for Dinchara and a cry for help from Aaron and Ginny.(less)
