Did Chad actually die in the book? When? Why does the author not explore this clearly? In the hearings in February on p.100, it says that thousands were infected and "five had died--the one found in the woods, and 4 more...infected later" In the same hearings on p.176-178 Tamaya testifies but no mention of Chad dying. In the epilogue, p.181, 2 weeks after the hearings, Tamaya, Chad, and Marshall are alive.
