There were so many things that the author could have done to make this book more Bastien's, but there was a lot from other books. There are only 16 chapters in the book, with about 6-8 being from other books. Not as bad as Dragonmark because the chapters were re-written from Bastien's pov, but wasn't worth the price. (less)
