Yes, they have their HEA. Beth gets the 'real' Ayden back. In book three TSFE, Beth's guardian Angel falls in love with her and wants her for himself but her willingness to sacrifice herself for Ayden makes him realize that if he really loved her he would let her go!

It's very dramatic and there is lots of angst. You will really enjoy the Into the Blue follow-on series. It starts with Blue Genes - Ayden finds out about his birth mother and has to deal with some very serious threats to his and Beth's lives...

They are parted in Blue Hearts and they finally have their very beautiful HEA in Blue Moon.
