I like the book, but hate the "stupidity" of the characters. For if a person is a big enough threat to innocence, end them as soon as possible, not talk to them or engage them on their home turf. Just end them. This is a common problem I have with books, the monster gets to do monstrous things and for some stupid reason the "hero" does the stupid thing of engaging, instead of the smart thing, a head shoot. Why?
