Should I read First-Time Caller before going into this? I know that they are not necessarily related plot-wise, and I don't want to miss out on having the best experience, but I am really in the mood to read a book with a plus-size FMC at the moment. I never read books that are parts of a series out of order (even the interconnected ones), so I am not sure if I can just go for it

The first time Jackson and Delilah go to the station to introduce their partnership, Lucie comes to the station with Aiden. Lucie is described as spinning in Aiden's chair, and he kisses her (from Delilah's POV)... but then in the next chapter, Jackson makes a comment that the booth is crowded with 3 people (him, Delilah, and Aiden). I've re-read that scene, so maybe I missed it again... but where did Lucie go?
