Why do authors persist in having characters, even educated ones, use such bad grammar? “Me and Jenna”, “me and Kasey,” over and over? I see it in every book I read now. Didn’t we learn in third grade that you put the other person first and yourself last? Maybe it’s a reflection on our society in which people seem to always put themselves first!

(My main one is misplaced apostrophes!) Either the authors don't know better, the editors don't care (or don't know, or if the author is well known, let it go, if they even proofread), or they write for their readers, who use correct grammar anymore. The "I" and "me" though is so easy to have learned and remember! Just pretend it's just you, and if you would use "I," then use "I" for both of you, not "me"!
Look at the terrible writing in newspapers and terrible grammar used in live television reporting. People don't care. Apparently degrees are handed out and mean nothing.(less)

I finished the book - wow what an ending! But can someone please explain the Prologue to me? Was this just a nightmare? or a total misdirection? or a character not in this book?????
