I watched the movie a couple of years ago because I didn't know about the book. I loved it, but now that I know the ending wouldn't it be kind of boring if I read the book? (I usually read the books first, if I know the important twists beforehand, I get bored.)

I have read the book and not watched the movie. From what I've heard, they are pretty much the same. I think the greatest thing going for the book is already revealed in the movie. If someone hasn't watched the movie or read the book, I'd recommend reading the book. But to the one who has watched the movie, I don't think you will gain all that much from reading the book.(less)
