how can a book grip my mother? well this book series beats anything I have ever read beats harry potter no offence to JK. Rowling she is still my seconded Chris Author of land of stories um..... skulduggery is precious to me my most prized possesion

I like the first one, but I dislike this one because of random undeveloped characters chucked in just to be 'villains', messy plot lines and unnecessary violence... But I'm kind of interested in the protagonists, so is it worth it to continue reading the series?
