I tried to listen to an audio-book version of this book and didn't get very far. I don't think the voice matched the over arcing message? Anyone have a similar experience, or read it and listen to it? Am I alone? Should I forge ahead with a print copy?

I had the exact reaction. I tried so hard, because I was really enjoying the message, but the narration sounded like that over-enthusiastic Americanised infomercial energy. She was trying so hard to be 'conversational' it felt more like a Facebook live than a book. Also, the referring to people as "sweetie" and "baby girl" or whatever the names were she used every couple of minutes. I couldn't tune it out. It's been a while now, but I never forged ahead for those exact reasons. Sorry I can't help with the print copy side. (less)
