Why did this author write his first book in this series with no foul language but have it in the second book? I am so disappointed.

George I would guess that in the time between, the taboo words that were literally unprintable had become not so for his publisher, among others. And Lovesey…moreI would guess that in the time between, the taboo words that were literally unprintable had become not so for his publisher, among others. And Lovesey took advantage of the change to make his dialog more realistic.
