Making it look like there is no one protesting or acting against the Capitol/the government and punishing those who do (in secret) to isolate and deter others who think of rebelling. Any sign of effort to criticise or hold the authorities accountable is just completely wiped from the footage.(less)

There are multiple characters who play a key role in this book that are left out in the original trilogy because they (or their relatives) were minor characters. (less)
