Hi, In the movie The Wicker Man (1973), the main character reads from a book and we see it close-up. The chapter he reads is called Britain, Land of Legends. I am trying to find out if that chapter is from this book. Can anyone confirm that this is the same book? Please see my post at the bottom of this page for more info. Thanks!

The text is the same but I'm not sure if the illustration on the opposing page is the same. The picture should be of a man as a "Betty" (Called a Teaser in the movie) dancing, a man as a hobby horse, a man as a Punch/Fool character and below all this, a sword lock (swords arranged to form a six-pointed star representing the sun). My local library got me a copy but the edition I have (1974, Pallidan paperback) doesn't have that illustration. Does anyone have a copy that does have that illustration opposite the chapter 13 intro? (Mine does have lots of nice pics. Just not that illustration.)
