I loved loved An Ember In The Ashes book, like my all time fav one but then, I didn't liked where the series headed ; like The Torch was just good and now this one.... I want to love this series badly but I am not sure if I should give it a try & later feeling disappointing Any Suggestions ??!!

My edition of A Reaper at the Gates doesn't have a map inside - is this intentional? The first two books have maps, so I was a little confused. It says international edition on the back. Has anyone else noticed this in their book?
