Of the two, which was more influential? Or is it not possible to differentiate? In other words, if you had the time to read only one, which one would be better?

It's more of a story of struggle and romance, delving into the basic ideas of individual vs. society and of loving partnership. Atlas Shrugged was also very well written but seemed to me to veer unnecessarily into other areas such as science fiction and fantasy. It's exciting reading but not as in touch with reality as The Fountainhead. I recommend both but liked The Fountainhead more.(less)
