It's laden with casual, gratuitous profanity. Apparently the author thought nothing of having his characters' talk laced with repeated use of the F word and other four-letter words; it was simply their everyday way of talking. Even when meeting someone new, in a 'professional' setting, their dialogue is needlessly crude
Frankly, I was incredulous. If this is the norm, society is way worse than I thought.(less)
