Do I have to read the 1977 issue to understand this one?

I read her background story from the 60s - 90s and I don't know if this is a reboot? I read the Paperback, but nothing about her past was in the comic? I know about Rogue and her Alcoholism and all that jazz. Just want to know if I skipped something that led to this Graphic novel
