I loved …moreWasn't Paulo Coelho always cliched and mediocre? I mean I respect the guy as a person and where he came from and what he has made of himself. I loved 'The Alchemist' the first time I read it but then I wasnt much of a reader then.
But you have to realize that his work has become extremely repetitive and that in the name of philosophy he's only feeding you pretentious chump change. Happens to authors who cannot carry their language well, someday they run out of material.
Also, it gets worse if your work is translated I guess. (less)
