I heard an interview with the author which made me curious about this book. I have never read any of the other books in the series. Is this a good book to jump into the series?

Tim Except for American Assassin, Kill Shot, and now Capture or Kill, the published order is the same as chronological order. So I'd suggest starting with American Assassin and going in the order Goodreads lists them in. I personally very much enjoyed Transfer of Power, the 3rd in the series but the first to have been published.(less)
