For Jews, it is a reminder of the everyday terror that was their reality in the USSR. For non-Jews it is a reminder that anti-Semitism is as real as it was in 1938. And we can’t help but make the connection to the black experience in 2018. Day after day of wondering “what’s next?”.
But it is also about humor, family, healing, connecting and reconnecting. So hope is a major component.
Yes, I recommend but for your designated readership.
