Has anyone read this book recently? The characterisation is excellent, and some of the background political issues in there quite relevant even today. Published just after the last Middle East war, 1973, but nothing to do with it, except the way a few characters behave who are either MP's or Lawyers. The story about the inheritance is was full of suspense.

Pat Any and all of the Snow novels are a very good read. It seems this author is being forgotten but the books are a great hidden treasure.
