Am I the only one who thinks the dialog in this book is just stiff as cardboard? Am I missing something?

A shift in perspective may enable you to enter the head-space of the characters and why they talked the way they did. I felt like it enabled my imagination to form very subtle images of the mannerisms of characters as they spoke; a kind of cinematic, almost script-like quality which I am a huge fan of. I am, however, not much into poetry or other flowery writing so I feel like many people will agree with both our opinions :)(less)
