Has Flewelling gone off the deep end on this one? I'm really hesitant to read this installment after reading some reviews and some of the wiki plot summary. Is it legit MPREG?? Like, Alec is actually PREGNANT at some point? And come on... Healing tears of life??Seems a bit cliche and melodramatic. Is it better than it sounds? Or do you think I should try and skip it altogether and move on to the next book?

I have to ask... was I the only one here who noticed the multiple continuity errors? Like Barien's name somehow changing to "Bareius" between Book 1 and Book 3? Or Magyana being back in the court working for Phoria despite having been exiled at the end of the previous book? Or Alec's father literally dying in a different way every single time his death is mentioned?
