I'm ok with spoilers but I have not read it and I'm curious - what is so 'gross' ? And have any of the humans who think it's yucky read The Gargoyle by Davidson? because I'm ok with that kind of gross.

That's not everyone's cup of tea, but it's just two skippable scenes. The rest of it is pretty PG, and Marrock and Scarlet are great together. Hope that helps you decide whether you want to read it. (Further, unasked for opinion: the books get better in their plot and writing from the next book.) (less)
