I just sorta stumbled into this book at a book store. I'd wanted to read Laymon for a while, and it was a cheap copy. Anyone else feel like, this being his last book and everything, Laymon didn't get to do a final draft?

And yes, I definitely got the feeling the book was incomplete. There was a stretch about 2/3 of the way through the book where the writing just felt sloppy and rushed, much in need of a cleanup.(less)
