Can anyone clarify if Coaxtl and Nanook are supposed to be male or female? In Chapter one, Nanook is referred to as "he." In the same chapter, Coaxlt is first called "she" and then later "he." When they follow the twins around in Chapter Four, they're both "she." I can understand a slip once or twice over the course of a book, but not being able to keep your details straight over four chapters?

Marianne Boutet In the first trilogy, it was fairly clear that Nanook was male and Coaxtl was female.
