Who was the killer and why?
pali Fairuza murdered Amrita (because Amrita's father killed the rest of his family during/after Partition and Fairuza's grandfather wanted revenge) , Amit…moreFairuza murdered Amrita (because Amrita's father killed the rest of his family during/after Partition and Fairuza's grandfather wanted revenge) , Amit (because she was worried he recognised her posing as Amrita and also to put him out of his misery as a disabled person), and Sanjay (I don't know why she killed Sanjay actually!) . Ro murdered The VB (I don't think we are told why -- I think just because he hates him?) and orchestrated the murder of The Latrine (aka his manager because she was a bad person and took credit for what he did at his previous job). There isn't any codes, or anything hidden in it that I can work out as yet. But I haven't worked out a context either, and don't care to look into it further. So either a quirk, or maybe something to do with the printer, or publishing copy. (less)

She pretends that she doesn't…morePeople have theories that it was Catherine. She offers Ro a job (I think) and says it's in his best interest to say yes. She pretends that she doesn't know which car is meant for Ro and which is meant for Mrs B but she actually knows and disables the brakes because he turned her down.

Otherwise it could be one of Mrs B's kids -- she says earlier in the book she thinks her son will kill her purposefully and that she had a dream they would disable the brakes in her car.
It could've been meant for Mrs B but Ro got it instead.
