I think the nausea was suppose to be giving us the sign of a healthy pregnancy.
But it was left open ended for the reader to interpret for sure.(less)

Is the title referring to “the sandwich generation” between 40 & 50’s when people care for kids and parents? Someone else mentioned Sandwich, MA in their review, but I did not get that necessarily.
