I currently have this 4th book given to me but I saw that it's part of a HUGE series. So I just would like to ask if I need to read the first book to understand the story or I can just read any books in the series because it's all separate stories??

TinaMarie You can read it stand alone but knowing what happened previously will make it richer as there are connected elements.
