There are also i think 3 other novellas but i can't remember where they fit in the series. They are all definitely worth reading though!(less)

Can I skip this one and go straight into Shadow Study (Soulfinders #1; Fire Study #4)? This book doesn't sound as interesting but I don't want to miss out on major plot points!

Soulfinders #1 (…moreI would suggest not to do that - the reading order is the Study triology, then the Glass triology, *then* the Soulfinders triology... Soulfinders #1 (Shadow Study) is actually book 7 in the Chronicles of Ixia, not including the brief short stories scattered in between! Although there is no obligation to follow the order, you'll miss out on 4 books worth of references when you start the Soulfinder series.
