Am I the only one who noticed the horrible error in this book? A character says that Washington Irving's Legend of Sleepy Hollow was inspired by a writer who passed through this town during the black summer of 1873. Washington Irving died in 1859 and wrote Legend of Sleepy Hollow decades before that. What gives?
