Can this be genetic? my grandfather had been called Senile back in the day..... is Alzheimer's the new word for this disease? also.. do you have any information from medical ... maybe a lack of important vitamin not having that may bring on this disease later in life?..

I b…moreMy father had four siblings and three of the five died from Alzheimer's. His death certificate listed cause of death "Alzheimer's type dementia ". I believe it to be genetic. There is currently genetic testing that can be done to determine if you carry this gene. There are clinical trials being done for drugs that can slow the progress of this disease.(less)
