I've just started reading "Take Me With You" and I'm considering purchasing copies for my grandchildren, so that we can read the story together. Their ages are 9 and 11. I've begun the fourth chapter and, at this point have not not encountered any subject matter that is inappropriate for their age group. Is this the case with the entire book? Thanks

Although, this subject matter is discussed in a very honest manner and at a level that could be understood by children of your grandchildren's ages. There is one occurance near the end of the book were the conflict gets heated, but if discussed with honesty this also may be OK for their ages.(less)

I haven't read this book yet, but I have a question. The summary says it's about Yellowstone National Park, but the cover shows Half Dome in Yosemite National Park. Does the story shift to Yosemite instead? Just curious, seems like a big OOPS if the front cover couldn't even get the correct national park??

The first part of it felt like it took place in the early part of the decade of 2000, because they were still using film cameras (the disposable kind) and the story conveyed the sense that the Internet was still fairly new. The second part of it takes place 8 years after the first part.(less)
