Christian Jensen In the Perdition Score, which happens after Kill City Blues, Stark states the following:

"Candy dipped her black blade in [Spiritus Dei], so I dipped mine in for good luck."

This seems like a plot hole. He uses the black blade alot in this book and the preceding one under the pretence he was still borrowing Candy's, which is actually his originally. At this point though, this pretence breaks down and it can only be explained away as a very unclear statement or by Stark having reobtained Mason's knife from the Grays.(less)
