In Ryo, she found someone who loved her and who she trusted and who she could use.

As for Kazunari, she didn't love him. She kept trying to lure him in (I think she could not understand how he could not want her), but the "love" or "attraction" was only bait...which he ultimately didn't take.(less)

A sheer Masterpiece i would definitly say. the bookis quite captivating which keeps the reader intact, wanting to think would culd have happened next. But the only think which is missing is Ryo & Yukiho's relatnship which should have been there at the end. I mean aftr all Such Gobby & shrimp relatnship why the writer didn;t put them together after bering so much of pain for each other?

In contrast to Sasagaki. The statute of limitations has passed, so no criminal action can be brought against them. Anybody who hears his suppositions will deem the detective crazy for having been obsessed with a case for so long. He operates as quietly as the two of them, and isn't a foreseeable danger. Lastly, Sasagaki is, at the end of the day, a cop - killing a cop would mean inviting a whole lot more trouble than the duo would have ever encountered before. It's simply not worth it. (less)
