I took a trip through France in 2014, during which we had a brief few days in the Loire Valley region. We saw Chambord and its grounds, which is an absolute must! We also spent a day in Amboise and visited Clos du Luce, where Leonardo da Vinci spent the last few years of his life. I wish we could've stayed in the area longer! I definitely want to go back someday. Chinon will be on my itinerary for sure! Hope you enjoy your 30th birthday trip! (less)
