There is definitely a "tone" to their writing. This book made me think about about the 100 yr old man as well as The Girl who saved the King and Hitman Anders. They seem to me to be written in such dispassionate tones. It definitely works, it's just quite different than many other authors I read. Would probably give the club a lot to talk about. (less)
