Sewing machines were gaining ground, there were some advancements in things, but no electricity or technology the way it's thought of now. Computers, cell phones, and things like that take up too much of people's lives anymore. you can't even walk in a store or on the street without someone bumping into you because they are stuck in their phone. I love her gardens and I'm working on getting mine to be paradise on earth. (less)
