Second main takeaway: MJ DeMarco's book basically tells you that the road to riches has always been about creating, controlling, and profiting from your own business entity that massively fulfills a market need. I have read dozens of business books and no one nails it on the head like this guy.

Effect on my personal life: I get up early and work my systems as long as I can before my baby daughter wakes up or I have to go to work. Evenings and weekends, same thing. Once I read this book I can really never go back to the old way of thinking.

I have also read this book cover-to-cover about fifteen times so far. So, definitely impactful!(less)

Is the editing in the book as bad as the editing in the author's self-written Goodreads bio? In the first paragraph alone, he can't seem to differentiate between "who's" and "whose" or grasp the correct usage of commas.

Lori Other than a few small grammar errors, the book is readable.
