Why on some of the epistles that there are overlapping voices. Stacy Keach will begin at first and then a younger voice will overlap and begin reading or vice versa. Are they trying to say that the second voice is the scribe? Questioning the authenticity of the stated author? That the actor did not want to read the entire letter?

Steph I haven't made it to Paul's letters (just starting Exodus), but my guess would be that the passages you're referring to involve events that took place…moreI haven't made it to Paul's letters (just starting Exodus), but my guess would be that the passages you're referring to involve events that took place when Paul was much younger than when he's writing to whichever audience he's addressing (Thessalonians, Galatians, Corinthians, Romans, etc). If that is indeed the case, the director has chosen to convey this difference in time by having a younger Paul relay these events/memories that the older Paul (voiced by Stacy Keach) is writing about.

I look forward to getting to the epistles so I can hear for myself & will do my best to remember to come back & address this Q&A with a confirmation or reevaluation of my experience.(less)

Hilarious how our witty atheist crew wastes time trying to point out the problems with the Bible. Low hanging fruit kids. The Bible's main theme can be summed up with the quotes from JC. "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." Now go be witty about the Quaran if you have some guts. That is a nice story about a child molesting war monger...but oddly I don't see you brave souls critiquing it. Hypocrisy?
