Deby Beran Vera makes people feel sorry for her and she gets into their heads and gets answers no one else can pull out. She asks the right questions.

What did the bit about the lady who had to give her baby girl up years ago have to do with the storyline? They kept talking about her baby girl, and for awhile I thought it might have been Kate that she had given up. Plus it kept mentioning a priest who was also a client of Margaret years ago. Was this also nothing to do with the storyline ?
