Trine Lise I'd say yes. There's some death and a lot of fighting, but it's not portrayed in a frightening or disturbing manner, and there is not a lot of gore or…moreI'd say yes. There's some death and a lot of fighting, but it's not portrayed in a frightening or disturbing manner, and there is not a lot of gore or that kind of thing. The humour can be dark at times (it's a story about evil geniuses, after all), but once again, the light tone of the stories balance it out nicely. The books are based on an online comic (Girl Genius) which is available online free of charge. If you're still on the fence about the series, you can give the comics a look to get a feel for the tone and story.(less)
