I cannot finish this paperback. There are over a dozen blank pages, one set of blanks is right in the middle of the Antartic battle. I put it down. Unfortunately, WalMart did not have a replacement. Anyone have a paperback of this book to share??

There were blank pages in the paperback revision, right in the middle of the Antartic attack scene! Sadly, I bought the book at WalMart and they only offered me credit as they did not have any more copies of this book. I would love to read the book, but there are blank pages further on so I gave up. Any place offering used ones?

The Sixth Extinction sounds really good, but I just saw that it is part of a series. Does the series need to be read in chronological order to enjoy it? Or are they just loosely related?
