Why is nothing mentioned about Rutherfurd's use of corn as a crop in Sarum during pre-historic times when corn is a new world crop? It did not exist in Europe, Asia or Africa. I would love to see it corrected in later editions...or at least a mention of a few factual errors.

Maude Different editions have different page counts depending on the page and font sizes. The mass market paperback I'm reading is 1033 pages. Goodreads probably picked a hardcover page count for this book, and hardcovers have fewer pages than paperbacks because of the page size differences.(less)
